My name is Ilkka Siik, born in Tampere (southern Finland) in 1983 so that makes me a guy in his mid-twenties. I started to draw (mostly comics and g.i.joe stuff :) when i was about 9 years old and almost ten years later discovered digital art. Since then i've been following and learning from many amazingly talented people from all around the world. My first inspirations come from Syd Mead, Feng Zhu and Dhabih Eng.
So, after graduating from college and going through a year of military service i've been working enthusiastically to develop a solid skillset for working as a professional artist in the games industry. I've always been into videogames starting from Doom and Wolf3D to this day. Later on i found my way into game modification projects. I'm currently studying interactive/visual design in TAMK University of Art and Media and working as an artist on iPad game prototyping project at Protomo, Finland.
